Cracking the MSN Code Review
So, I usually don’t purchase mid-dollar items as most don’t give the proper bang for your buck. However, that said, given the fact that Chris Rempal has delivered in the past, I figured that I would give Chris’ newest product, Cracking the MSN Code, a shot to see what it is, and what it does.
For those of you who don’t know who Chris is, he debuted with a very good book called the lazy marketer, The Conduit Method and his most recent report, (you can check out my review for this product by clicking the link), is probably one of the better low priced products to date.
Unfortunately, Cracking the MSN Code is not so cheap BUT there is a reason for this. First, he partnered up with the LinkVana creator (for those of you who don’t know about this service, it is a backlink builder that has worked wonders for myself, personally). Secondly, the information in his report is absolutely golden if it works as he claims it to work (and I have never known Chris Rempel to “game” his following).
So what is Cracking the MSN code?
Basically, as internet marketers, most of us spend all of our energy and resources trying to appease google and get ranked in google. And, according to Chris and his partner, if you are doing this, you are leaving money on the table.
Think about it this way….which search engine do you think you would stand a chance for ranking for debt consolidation (which has 35 million competing pages)?
Well, unless you are prepared to spend months developing a site and purchase paid links, then you can pretty much throw google out the window….
MSN…well, that is another matter.
The algorythm of MSN is antiquitated and there are certain vulnerabilities that you wouldn’t be able to expose with google. Bad news for MSN but good news for you.
I personally know that this is the case because I have managed to rank #1 for popular search terms (5+ million) using a different method just weeks after I created a new site. And I imagine that Chris’ technique is no different.
And what about traffic??
Everyone knows that traffic is king and google will give you the most bang for your buck. What we forget, as veteran internet users, is that most computers have MSN as the default search engine. In other words, grandma gets a computer and wants to search for something…chances are she is going to use….MSN.
So, while the numbers will be lower, what you get is rookie internet users….and it is the rookies who will pay your bills in most cases.
How low are the numbers? In tests that Chris did with a popular keyword, his site didn’t get less than 300 uniques a day. Now, I am no rocket scientist but I suspect that most marketers would love to grab that many uniques that are being driven by organic traffic, right?
Reading Cracking the MSN Code…
The readability of the 20 page book is a little hit and miss. To be honest with you, I had to re-read the thing 3 times before I got the idea down pat. The reason for this is because, the how-to instructions are set-up twice.
- Cracking the MSN code with the optional plug-in (which I recommend)
- Cracking the MSN code without the plug-in (which is doable but not so automated).
The basic premise is set up like this….
- You have a front money site
- You also have a back end blog.
I can’t say much more because I would be giving it all away. Anyway, I suggest this for any marketer that wants to give MSN a chance.
Anyway, if anyone is interested, they can check out the product and see a couple videos here-
